The Women in Tech Inspiring Change - Women In Tech by MindSpore and Linux Foundation
As technology turns big ideas into reality, we can't help but wonder what risks are hiding behind the convenience it brings. Today, we're exploring how women in the technology industry are embracing this new world.
Women in Technology
At 19:00 on the 23rd of March (GMT+8), two distinguished female guests will be joining us in the Women In Tech online event hosted by the LF AI & DATA foundation, the MindSpore community, and LF Open Source Software Academy. The guests will share success stories about the application of technology in biodiversity protection and special education. We hope that these stories can inspire more tech talent to help protect our wildlife and support those with special educational needs. Together, we will use the power of technology to make the world a better place.
Cheng Chen, Director of the Nature Watch program at Shan Shui Conservation Center, uses advanced AI algorithms to solve the challenges in obtaining and applying biodiversity data and providing the technical support needed to protect biodiversity.
Dr. Connie Yuen, Head of the Department of Applied Data Science and Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU), uses the power of advanced technology to help students with special needs acquire new knowledge and establish interpersonal relationships. Such technology has helped many students take control of their life plans and develop their careers.
Female perspectives are changing the world. Women bring new skills to technology, and make the world a better place.
Do what you love, love what you do.
Happy International Women's Day!
